Halloween, NaNoWriMo, and Sleep
It's not even september, and I'm impatiently waiting for the end of October!
I do so love Halloween, though. Sadly, with any luck, I'll have full-time employment by then. Which would be sad, as Halloween falls on a Monday, and I'd be likely working. Assuming I can find a bloody frelling job. Need to finish apps...
So, first my beloved holiday, of Jack-o-Lanterns, and Pimpkins, and costumes and candles, and horror and scaring children, and the one precious day a year where everyone dresses and acts as I do the rest of the time. Wheeee, fun! Then, National Novel Writing Month (Which I believe may be international, now, not sure...) and a new t-shirt for it!
Though, at the rate I'm going... Hooo boy. I'll be lucky to make the 50k goal, let alone my dreamin' of a 100k goal. I'll work up to it? I wrote somewhere around 4000 words the other day, sadly 3k of that was for the journal and various other rants. Ah, the life. I was worried that half of the remainder would have to be rewritten, but I've just revised it and am relieved that it's safe. So, 1154 words for Monday. Tuesday, none. I'm gonna keep tallies of September and October as tells for November, and to try to get into the habit of writing every day. While laid back and all, 1k a week isn't going to make me a published author in my freaking lifetime.

I went to bed too early tonight. At 7. And now I'm awake again. Going to try to snick some leftover sushi from the store, write a bit, then back to bed for 6:30 wake up call. Ptooie.
